Make Disciples: Ben Wickel

What was Jesus' purpose on the earth? Luke 4:43 tells us that Jesus said “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well; for I was sent for this purpose.” Jesus was all about the Kingdom of God here on earth! So what does it look like to be citizens of the Kingdom on Heaven this side of eternity? In this sermon series we will discuss King Jesus and the establishing of His Kingdom here on Earth.

This week, Ben continued our Here on Earth series by sharing our third core value: Make Disciples. Whether you've been here since 2011 or 2026, we hope you have seen that Antioch Raleigh is a body committed to making disciples of Jesus. If you've been wondering how to jump into discipleship or have perhaps thought "I would love to disciple someone, but I don't know how" give this week's sermon a listen to learn some disciple-making practicals!

Key Passages: John 1:35-43; John 2:1
