Pillar Teams

Worship is a lifestyle, not just an act. Our worship team is a group of musically-gifted worshippers, serving with voices and instruments to bring Heaven to earth, activating hearts of adoration and inviting encounters with God every time we gather. 

People engage with Jesus in different ways! The Graphics Team exists to help people encounter Jesus by displaying timely visuals
that support what is happening in a given space.

The Sound Team are servants of Jesus, using their technological skills to allow every word to be both heard and understood
through audio.

The Communications Team uses digital media, design, and marketing to effectively inspire and inform others as a creative act of worship.  Through graphic design, photography/videography, writing, and other media forms, we use our skills to effectively engage those in and outside of our church body. We are always looking for more creatives to join our team!

The Set Up / Tear Down pillars assemble and place all the necessary equipment and signage so our whole body can participate in worshipping our God and King! Set Up / Tear Down pillars seek to humbly serve like Jesus (Philippians 2:1-8) by looking to meet the needs of other pillar teams on Sunday Mornings!

We believe that atmosphere matters! When we gather together, we love to create opportunities for connection, and Jesus modeled this through hospitality! Our Hospitality Team are pillars with a passion for the details of gatherings and for serving others through food and drink! We want you to know you are seen and loved by Jesus and his church!
 

The Greeting Team is the welcoming front porch to God’s house.  We want to love others well by offering a warm, hospitable, and Spirit-filled welcome that will foster a sense of community and belonging.  It’s the first impression of the church and for some, the first impression of Jesus; therefore, the first line of ministry starts with greeters. Romans 15:7 – Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

Our pre-service Prayer Team meets at 9:00 on Sunday mornings before church to pray over our leaders and our congregation. It is our heart to shepherd our church through seeking God and making intercession for the saints. For other prayer meetings throughout the week, see our weekly prayer schedule.

Pillars on this team serve by supporting members of our church in many ways! The most common ways are through bringing a meal, offering childcare, house cleaning, yard work, writing encouraging cards, making hospital baskets, and being a supportive and listening ear. Within Care Ministry we offer Care Communities, which are circles of support for foster families in our church!

Our volunteers provide a fun environment where kids can encounter God and be discipled into the image of Jesus as salt and light for their generation.  Volunteers rotate and serve in their classrooms once a month during Sunday Service. As our ministry continues to grow, we are always looking for more volunteers to pour into this next generation of world-changers!

At Antioch Youth Crew, we have a burning passion to see our youth faithfully walking with Jesus and boldly proclaiming the gospel to the ends of the earth. We meet on Sunday evenings every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sunday of the month! Have a heart to disciple the next generation? Let us know!
