Discipleship

Every Disciple a Disciple-Maker

Jesus commanded his followers to "go make disciples of all nations," baptize them, and teach them to obey all that Jesus commanded them to do.

Discipleship is "the intentional process of training people to be devoted followers of Jesus, who through accountable relationships increasingly resemble Him and reproduce other disciples."

Discipleship is more than sharing the Gospel or reading the Bible with someone, but a commitment to model for others what it looks like to follow Jesus and teach them to obey his commands including to make disciples. Every follower of Jesus can make disciples as they impart what they have received to others.

Discipleship Inventory

These four questions are intended to help foster reflection in the life of a disciple.
Our responses do not qualify or disqualify us in our relationship with God or others, rather help us see where we are growing and in continual need of God's grace.
Responses to these questions must be shared and received in humility as with all things in our walk with Jesus.
What is God speaking to you this week?

What sins do you need to confess?

Who are you discipling and how can I help you?

Who are you praying for and asking God to save?

Discipleship Cycle

The D-Cycle is a curriculum containing content designed to establish
the scriptural foundations of the faith in the life of a believer.
The Discipleship Cycle was created to help disciple-makers establish the scriptural foundations of the faith in the life of a believer.  The content below is not exhaustive and discipleship should always be led by prayerfully listening to Holy Spirit, seeking what is best for the one being discipled. Disciple-makers should be mindful that merely reading the passages within the document does not make one a disciple. Without applying what the Bible says to one's life, we are building the house of our lives on a faulty foundation that will be exposed when the "rain and wind" of life inevitably come.
